Kopar at Newton is a prestigious luxury development only a few minutes walk away from Newton MRT station. Located right outside the central and CBD area, this new condo is extremely accessible for those working in CBD or parents wanting to put their children in schools like ACS, SJI, St. Margaret’s and SCGS.

Through the Newton Red Line, residents can easily head over to the Orchard belt for shopping, and if need be, Novena Health City is just 1 MRT stop or a quick drive away.

The downside is the noise pollution that will be generated by cars traveling through Bukit Timah Road and Newton flyover, the bustle of commuters each day through the MRT as well as visitors to the popular Newton Circus Food Centre.

Next Home Upgraders

With 70% of its land set aside for the construction of amenities, Kopar oozes opulence and space. Of course, premium amenities come with a hefty price tag. On top of a high entry price, Kopar also has high maintenance fees starting at $400. That’s quite a bit beyond the average $250-$350.

With only 378 units, residents can make the most of its space with little possibility of amenities becoming overcrowded. Most of the open air facilities like the lap pool have also been cleverly tucked away from the main stretch to protect users from prying eyes along the busy Bukit Timah Road.

Parents will also be delighted to know that the United Square shopping mall known for its children enrichment centres is only 9 minutes walk away.

Nest Egg Finders

If you’re an investor looking for potential rental income, this might be a premium choice. Newton is a prime residential district and will undergo further enhancements to its residential quality under URA’s planning. With Newton MRT only a few minutes walk away, professionals working in the CBD would definitely be interested in this establishment.

In addition, Kopar’s location and exclusivity puts it in great demand. Kopar is one of the best investment options we would pick for our Nest Egg Finders. It has good growth potential for both sale and rent, owing to its fantastic location right beside Newton MRT.

For homeowners who have the budget, we would also recommend this for its accessibility, proximity to good schools and CBD (especially those working there), and privacy.

The drawback would be noise pollution from Bukit Timah Road.
